How do I find something on the Marketplace?
It's easy! Simply type the name (or keyword) of what you are looking for in the QUICK SEARCH box and hit the GO button. All listings within the Marketplace will be searched and any that contain your word will be posted in the search results. You can search just about anything, from product names and company names to services and types of equipment (i.e. buffers). You can also search by location using zip codes, cities, state abbreviations or countries!
Another way to find something is to use the ADVANCED SEARCH option. You can find companies that are listed under any of the 240 specific industry categories. To use this, simply go to the SEARCH BY CATEGORIES and click on the pull-down menu, then click again on one of the categories. From there a list of sub-categories will appear. The search is narrowed down until at the end a list is produced of all the companies that fall under that category.
What
is an Account Manager?
With the TIA Internet Marketplace Account Manager, listing
your company is as easy as 1,2,3. TIA has customized a special
easy-to-use interface that allows you direct access to your
company and product information. With the Account Manager,
you can insert your company contact information, logo, copy
about your products and select industry categories to list
your company under. In addition, you can add thumbnails and
photos of products you're listing, all with simple point
and click options. From start to finish, you're in total
control of you're listing. In fact, you're able
to update and edit your listings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year. In addition, your online Account Manager will
give you the ability to access and change your category listings
when you feel the need to add or delete products or services.
What is a TIA Internet Marketplace Listing?
A Marketplace Listing is the name we've given the information
for each company that is "listing" products or services
on the Marketplace. This can include the most basic information,
such as the name and contact information for a company, all the way
to a complete catalogue of the products a particular company
sells.
Who
are Buyers?
Buyers are people from the industry who come to browse the
Internet Marketplace for a specific company, product
or service. This is done by either browsing category listings
or searches by keyword and company name.
TIA
is providing you key information to research the products
and services you wish to buy before you buy them. TIA makes
it quick, easy and convenient to locate those hard to find
suppliers. Now you're one click away from finding your

Who
are Sellers?
Sellers are companies that have listed their products or services
on the TIA Internet Marketplace.
The
Marketplace also serves as your own web page for those suppliers
who currently do not operate a website. For those who have
invested in a website, this will serve as a backdoor to your
company's website. The listings are also extremely targeted
advertisement because most, if not all visitors to our sites,
are involved in the tire, rubber, recycling and transportation
industries. It is an extremely economical way to stretch your
advertising budget while complementing your existing internet
marketing plan.
What
are Product Packages?
Product Packages are what companies wishing to be listed on
the Marketplace (or sellers) purchase from TIA. There are
three different packages to accommodate a range of budgets. Packages
range from the most basic to a complete catalogue of products.
All of the packages below come with a Request
More Information window, e-mail link and link to your
current website.
Basic
Listing
The first of the three Product Packages available. List your company name, address, phone number, contact information,
e-mail address and link to your current website. With the
TIA Internet Marketplace Account Manager, you can choose
which categories to place your business in using our searchable
database. Also includes the "Request More Information"
window where a buyer interested in your company can fill out
a request form that will be e-mailed directly to you.
Profile
Listing
The second, mid-range Product Package. Enhance your company's listing by adding a company statement
in 3000 characters (spaces included) or less. Position your
mission statement, company history or "About Us"
information using the profile form. Utilize this marketing
tool as a means to target your business and attract potential
customers. We can draw an analogy with a listing in the Yellow
Pages. A consumer without previous knowledge of a company,
will be more drawn to an ad that tells about the company.
This package includes all the features from the Basic Listing.
Product
Listing
"The Ultimate Salesman!" Take your listing to the
to MAX! Include four-color photos, product description and
prices (optional). There is no limit to how many Products/Services
you can catalog - list as many items as you wish. Easily submit your
products/services via jpeg or gif images using the Account
Manager. This package includes all the features from the Basic
and Profile Listings.
